Shutter Speed
I like this photograph because it has a range of different colours that are blending in together, I like the way that they have turned off the lights to get a better effect of the colours, this is a good example of shutter speed because they have taken the picture quickly so it looks like all the colours are spinning and that they are all blending in together.
Martin Waugh
He combines art and science to capture nature's infinite beauty.
He realised that water calmed the soul, soothed the spirit and healed the wounded. Martins uses of high-speed photography make it possible to capture the smooth and effortless curves of liquid, eliciting a child like sense of fun and whimsy. Insperations of his work often reveal as much about the viewer as the artist, by varying the size, speed and position of drops, as well as the colour, viscosity, and surface tension, he creates a panorama of colour, movement and intrigue.

Annotation
I like the way Martin Waugh has taken this photograph because of the bubble around the picture and I like the colour of the water drop, I think Waugh used a fast shutter speed so as soon as the drop hits the water he can captre the effect. I like the rings that go round the drop because they add more effect to the photograph and show that it is realistic, he uses water colours in his pictures to get the different effects of each colour also he uses coloured paper underneath to make the photograph look brighter.
My own photographs edited, (slow shutter speed).
Step by step...
Step 1: I uploaded the picture I wanted to use. Step 2: I cropped the photo to get rid of ll the negative space. Step 3: I selected the curves tool and made the picture brighter to make it stand out. Step 4: I selected the saturation and hue tool to change the colour of the water to blue instead of pink.
My own photographs (long shutter speed)
I used a long shutter speed to get a better effect on the images, I made different patterns with the torch on my phone to get a decent photograph, I changed the directions of the way I was holding the torch and made shapes and words so it looked exciting instead of plain.
My photographs edited.
I edited my photographs because I wanted to try all the different effects it had with different colours, they look more exciting and more funky.
